Booking, cancellation, and refund terms for workshops, retreats, and events at Align Wellness Centre.
Workshops, Retreats and Events
This Bookings & Cancellation Policy applies to workshops, retreats, special events, wellness experiences, educational programs, and similar activities offered by Align Wellness Centre.
By making a booking, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Booking Confirmation
Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment or deposit, as specified at the time of booking.
Spaces may be limited and bookings are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Align Wellness Centre reserves the right to decline or cancel a booking where necessary.
Participant Responsibility
Participants are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during the booking process is accurate and up to date.
Where applicable, participants should advise Align Wellness Centre of any relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies, dietary requirements, accessibility needs, or other circumstances that may affect their participation.
Workshop and Event Cancellations by Participants
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to engage@aligncairns.com.au.
Unless otherwise stated for a specific event:
• More than 14 days before the event: Full refund less any non-refundable booking or processing fees.
• Between 7 and 14 days before the event: 50% refund.
• Less than 7 days before the event: No refund.
Participants may transfer their booking to another person with prior approval from Align Wellness Centre.
Retreat Cancellations by Participants
Due to the planning, venue commitments, accommodation arrangements, catering, and preparation involved in retreats:
• More than 30 days before the retreat commencement date: Full refund less any non-refundable booking or processing fees.
• Between 14 and 30 days before the retreat commencement date: 50% refund.
• Less than 14 days before the retreat commencement date: No refund.
Participants are encouraged to obtain suitable travel insurance where applicable.
Failure to Attend
No refunds, credits, or transfers will be provided where a participant fails to attend an event, workshop, retreat, or program without prior notice.
Cancellation by Align Wellness Centre
Align Wellness Centre reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, modify, or cancel any workshop, retreat, event, or program due to unforeseen circumstances, low enrolment numbers, presenter illness, venue issues, weather events, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where Align Wellness Centre cancels an event, participants will be offered a full refund or a transfer to a future event where appropriate.
Align Wellness Centre is not responsible for travel, accommodation, loss of income, or other costs incurred by participants in connection with an event cancellation.
Changes to Programs
Align Wellness Centre reserves the right to make reasonable changes to event schedules, facilitators, venues, activities, content, catering, or program inclusions where necessary.
Any substitutions will be made with the intention of maintaining the overall quality and value of the experience.
Health and Safety
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are physically and medically able to participate in any activity they choose to attend.
Participation is voluntary and undertaken at the participant's own risk.
If you have concerns regarding your suitability for any activity, workshop, retreat, or event, you should seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before participating.
